London accommodation

General info

One of the greatest cities in Europe has to be London. We all know the icons: red double deckers, the Palace Guards, West End Theatres and Big Ben.

From the Tower of London to the Tate, from Buckingham Palace to Hyde Park it’s one of the most historic, culture-packed and frantic capitals in the world.

Things you must see & do

Walk through some of London’s greatest history at the Tower of London. Take in some of the world’s most famous masterpieces at the Tate Modern – from Picasso and Pollock to Warhol and Beuys. And when you fancy a sit down, the Tate Modern has an incredible café with views out over the Thames.

For a bit of history head over to Dennis Severs’ House – an 18th Century house recreated as it would have been at the time of the Huguenot weavers. And no visit to London is complete until you see the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace!

Take in the panoramic views whilst in giant glass-enclosed pods 135m above the Thames on the London Eye – spectacular at night. Get amongst the crowds and rub shoulders with Jamie Oliver and Nigella at the Borough Market, Southwark.
